We propose a hardware-based solution, introducing physical sensor covers in the form of playful and stylish hats for pet robots like Emo. Our approach, informed by a tangible interaction framework, priorities user-centric privacy, control while infusing an element of entertainment into the experience. Through an online questionnaire user study, we found that users have significant privacy concerns when interacting with robots and express a strong, need for privacs protection. ImportantlY, they prefer solutions that do not compromise the robot's functionality, emphasizing the importance of unobtrusive and eniovable customization options.
